The Swiss Dutch Business Council offers a dynamic calendar of events designed to connect, inspire, and create impact. From company visits that open doors to valuable relationships, to expert webinars providing insights on cross-border business, our programs foster knowledge and collaboration. We are building a vibrant young talents group to engage the next generation, while our New Year’s reception sets the tone for 2026. The highlight of the year, the Annual Business Forum, brings Swiss and Dutch leaders together for keynotes, exchange, and new opportunities.

What do the plans presented on Prinsjesdag mean for businesses operating in the Netherlands?

Held in an inspiring setting in Rotterdam, the session brought together senior leaders from the logistics and industrial sectors to exchange perspectives on developments impacting supply chains, trade flows, and industrial competitiveness between Switzerland and the Netherlands.

We were pleased to co-organize with Loyens & Loeff an insightful knowledge event, titled “Legal & Tax aspects in investment decisions: a comparison between Switzerland and the Netherlands” During this session, experts from Loyens & Loeff shared their perspectives on the differences and similarities between Swiss and Dutch organisational structures in M&A, particularly from a legal and tax perspective.

Inspiring the next generation of Swiss–Dutch leaders
We were thrilled to host the official launch of the Young Board of the Swiss Dutch Business Council - a new platform connecting the next generation of leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Our keynote speaker, Azza El-Hayek, Co-Founder and Partner at SkillLab, shared her perspectives. During the evening, the Young Board presented its vision and upcoming initiatives, inviting young professionals to contribute, exchange ideas, and actively help shape the platform.

Trade Mission Switzerland

At SDBC, we are proud to support and amplify efforts like the NL-Switzerland biotech trade mission, where cross-border collaboration ignites innovation in health, life sciences, and sustainable technologies.

SDBC Launch

It was a great honour to celebrate the official launch of the Swiss Dutch Business Council on 1 July at the residence of the Ambassador of Switzerland, Mrs Corinne Cicéron Bühler. A special event in a memorable place! The newly appointed board presented itself, the SDBC mission, and upcoming activities. A highligt was the unreveiling of the SDBC logo, designed by Studio Harris Blondman. Many thanks to the Embassy team for hosting and for the great endorsement!
